I found this is the only active J1 waiver forum to get few answers. May be this is the reason I reached to final stage of J1 waiver. On website of DOS I can see favorable recommendation for my case no. I want to know what is the next step after this? Do I need to submit any documents or convey anything to USCIS? What about case no. of USCIS, DOS and USCIS case nos. are same? How much time will it take to complete remaining procedure now? Please do reply. Thanks!! Quote
jairichi Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 You do not have to do anything. Now, DOS will forward their favorable recommendation to USCIS and USCIS will give you a final decision in the form of a document that is mailed to you. It should take around 1 to 2 weeks. Quote
