H1B Renewal in Bahammas

Hi All

I live in Florida and wondered if I can get my re-stamping done in the Bahammas? I heard some stories of folks getting it done and it appears the consultate does allow it.

Also is it mandatory that my spouse and children have to attend for their H4 stamping? We are all expired on our I94's and previous visa's and wondered if they have to attend of can just I go?

Any advice and help is appreciated.

I have also heard of Visa stamping in Bahamas and that you can get a Bahama Visa once you arrive at Bahamas.

you mean to say that your I-94 has expired? dude you are incurring illegal stay here!!!

as far as bahamas goes...yes one of my friend has done his stamping there few yrs back..hardly any questions asked.

I guess here OP is referring to his old I94.

My i797 is renewed which confirms my H1b for 3 more years. I am a british citizen working in the USA.

My i94 and old visa expired a few months back although I was told my i797 is valid enough until i get re-stamped if required.

Any idea on taking my Spouse? is this mandatory or anyway around this due to health?
