Family visiting India - Only 4 months left on H4

Friends, my wife and son(both are on H4) visiting India in June. My H1 is valid only till October 2013. They have to go for Visa stamping too.

1.) Will there be any issue while stamping as only 4 months left?

2.) do they personally need to attend for stamping? Hearing that we can post our documents and don't need to personally attend for visa stamping.
