L2 to H1 and I 94 extension queries

Hi,

I have few questions regarding my visa.

I am on L2 EAD and is valid till end of July 2013.

I have following questions and some confusions also.

1. My husbands employer will be applying for i94 extension in May (his visa is also valid till end of July 2013),

Can I apply EAD extension simultaneously with i 94 Extension?

If documents are requested by USCIS for EAD extension while i 94 and EAD in process, what documents I should submit?

2. Some employer is filing my H1B in april. Can I travel to India in April end and return in May. Will that affect H1B processing?

3.Is there any temporary work permit I can get from August to September end based on extended i94 date (if received extension)

4. If my husbands i94 extension applied first and later, after a month, can I apply? Is this doable?

1) No, you cannot apply for EAD extension without getting the I94 extension, if it is expiring in July.

2) It is not advisable to tarvel while COS is pending with USCIS. The COS may get approved for consualr processing.

3) No

4) Yes, your I94 extension can be applied as long as your current I94 is not expired. Both can be done together which is better or seperately.
