I would like to share my visa experience @ Calgary ,CA ( 29/01/2013)

VO : Hello , how you doing today

Me : I am good , Thanks - How about you Sir ,

VO : who is you employer

ME : XXXXXXXXX

VO : How long you been with him

ME : XXXXXXXXXXX

VO : did you file your H1 with same employer

ME : XXXXXXXXXXXX

VO: Where did you do your masters ?

ME : XXXXXXXXXXXXX

VO : Are you kidding me ?

ME : No Sir , I did my masters from XXXX school

VO : Are you serious ( with a smiling face)

ME : Yes Sir .

He collected my passport and DS160 and kept inside

then asked me

VO: where do you stay ?

ME : XXXXXXXXX

VO: did you ever go to some blah blah place

ME : yes , XXXXXXXXX

VO: I lived in the same place for years ,

ME : oh XXX

VO : your visa is approved and said "you good to go" , with a smile .

I have seen there were atleast 10-15 H1B Candidates , Everyone got stamped .

Friends , He's just checking how confident you are when answering .

I have a question for you? Have you done Masters from US?

I am thinking for Ottawa for my H1B Extention stamping , But I have done all my education from India. Is it good to go to Canadian US consulate for H1B stamping for people who do not Degree from US?
