The question is when COS from h4 to f1 is under process and one travels back home and reenters on h4, would there be any issue on the F1 application? Please help.
JoeF Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 If you travel out of the US while a COS is in process, the COS would automatically be canceled, because you don't have a status to change from as soon as you travel out of the US.

Thanks Joef for response. So we can apply for COS from H4 to F1 with start date of 07/01/13 and then after it is approved travel outside USA and come back on H4 and then begin using F1 from 07/01/13? Thanks.
