Been out of the US for vacation and work related trips for about two and half months (last one was few weeks ago) total since 2008. Would those 2.5 months be deducted from 5 years of living requirement? I am wondering when would be I be eligible to start the application for US Citizenship. I am guessing its either April 2013 or June 2013. Thanks everyone! Link to comment

t75 Posted February 7, 2013 Report Share Posted February 7, 2013 Just don't file too soon. 90 days is days and not 3 months. A week or two past the earliest possible filing date is not going to hurt but even a day too soon likely will. Link to comment
