Usually most recent Bank Statement is enough, 3-4 months should be more than sufficient. They are mainly looking at your current funds to support your trip to Canada.

To prove your status they look at paystubs and 797. Bank statements? not so much.

My note is based on personal experience from 4 years back , not sure if documentation requirements have changed recently.

Hi omshiv, i have pay steps for more than two years. i am asking about bank statements for direct deposits.

People were saying we have to carry bank statements for past 1-2 years. 3-4 months statements would be good enough for VISA stamping in canada vancouver.

I would say carry atleast 1 year bank statements (Why would it hurt?) as we never know what we can be asked for. I know some people who were asked for 2 years paystubs and statements...

If you want to carry only 3 months statements what you will do if the VO asks for previous statements?? If you want to take chance of getting 221g and wait in canada for undefined time period it is your choice....
