Can we fill another DS-160 form to correct any mistakes made in earlier DS-160?

Yester day I submitted DS-160 form with small mistake like place of birth as city which is near by to my village where I was born and the same is appearing in Passport also. Visa fees I have not paid yet and appointment yet to be taken. In this context, can I fill another DS-160 to correct the above mistake and in the stanely website for interview scheduling, mention new DS-160 bar code for mapping this appointment to new DS-160 form bar code.

Please help me in this regard,

I think so... you can change your DS-160 by editing the application information

I did it before, you can fill as many as you want... They wont be valid unless they are tied to an actual appointment...
