H1B and W8-Ben Confusion !!!

Hi All,

Please help me ! I came to US on November 2012 and i have opened a BOA Checking and Savings account. I have been working for Wipro here and recently i got a mail from BOA that my W8-Ben is rejected and I need to send it again in order to get the exemption of my income or something like that.

I am having a Chase checking account also, from there also i got the mail and even they took some amount as federal tax withheld.

I am not sure what i should do now since none of my friends and co-workers are aware of any such form or rejection.

I tried contacting the Bank Customer care regarding this and they are also not able to help me in this.

Please help me out in this !! Thank you..
