H1 Transfer when H1 Extension is Pending & has valid I94 status

Hi,

I have valid I94 until April 30th 2013. My current employer has filed a non-premium H1 extension.

I want to transfer my H1 to a different employer. I have the following questions:

1. Can we transfer my H1 to a different employer when the H1 extension field by current employer pending for approval.

2. If we can transfer, what happens to my status, which is valid until April 30th 2013, if my current employer withdraw my H1 extension.

May be the above topic has been discussed in this forum several times. But I'm unable to find the same topic.
