patas Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 Hi, My H1b visa stamp in passport is expiring on Jun 30, 2012. I am goingto go to India and return to US around Jun 9th. I will have approved I-797 before I leave. Will it be any problem at POE in US or at Indian airport during my return trip? Your inputs will be appreciated. Thanks. VJ. Link to comment

VISATOUS Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 Hi, Depends on the Officer at the point of entry as there is a chance of he questioning you why didn't you get it stamped when your visa stamp is expiring and visiting home. One of my friend in same situation got questioned but left him after some serious questions. It is minor risk but better be prepared with answers. Thanks, Link to comment
