Am I executing AC21

Experts,

I have an approved I140 with a Priority Date of 11/05/2011. Graduated from Masters program in 2008 and got my H1B in 2009 (First 6 years expire on 2015). I am switching jobs and per my knowledge I will get a H1B for 3 years if we submit I140 approval notice along with the application. Based on my understanding this is due to AC21 section 104. Am I correct here?

Yes and no. AC21 allows you to extend your H1 beyond 6 years. It may be that you are getting a few additional months based on that, which you should point out. But most of your H1 is just a regular extention within 6 years.
