dudebhai Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Hi, I was on H1B before and my green card was filed in 5th year. Labor got approved in 6th year and I also got an H1B extension after 6th year on approved labor. My I-140 got rejected in 7th year and I then switched to F1 visa. I completed master's and went on OPT (12 months) and STEM-OPT (17 months). My STEM-OPT is going to expire in June 2013. Can I apply for a fresh H1B in April 2013, or do I need to go out of country for a year to get a fresh H1B? Or can I still get an H1B extension on approved labor from before? Thanks, Shiva.
