mohitbanga
Hi guys, Thanks for looking ... I am travelling to India to get H1B stamped in a month for employer A.. After I come back I want to switch my job .. to employer B ... Thus I will be employed at B with A's Visa stamp .. Now my questions are : Firstly ..I will have H1B stamping of employer A.. however my current employer will be B .. Then I travel to India .. Do I need to get the stamping again for the new employer (B) .. ? Secondly .. I will be getting married when I will be travelling to India with the new employer(B) .. and will file for H4 for my wife .. Will that create problems for her H4 .. Thirdly can they ask me to get my H1B updated (from A->B) before or with her H4 application..? Any answers will be appreciated ... Thanks Guys .. Link to comment
t75
You should be planning to work for A upon your return. Link to comment
mohitbanga
after you are married you'll have to show employer B's 797 for your wife's H4. you can travel on employer A's visa stamp...however depending on your next travel and your current visa expiry...its advisable to get B's stamping on your passport. thanks guys for your response .. However.. if I have A's stamp by june and shift to employer B .. and then go to India in september .. I will still have about 2 yrs to expire .. so would I be till good if I dnt get B's stamping .. however just let my wife get H4 on employer B's 797..? Link to comment
