H1B extension question

I am on completion of 6th year. I have I140 approval from current employer. I am thinking of transferring Visa from Employer A to Employer B. I am concerned that Employer B has to file GC and my only question is if for some reason they get any RFEs in the GC processing from Employer B, will they continue to extend H1B in the increments of 3 years based on my I140 from Employer A?

You may continue to file for 3 year extensions as long as the i140 from employer A is valid and not revoked.
