Hello

I was asked to submit the following documents

--> Copy of resume, Degrees, Diplomas, Transcripts, Complete passport including I-94 (do not send blank pages of the +passport), Employment experience letters, Recommendations, Licenses.

If on:

H-4:

Copy of Spouse's H-1B approval

Latest pay stubs

Copy of Marriage Certificate.

I did not understand why do I have to submit my spouse's H1B approval and Latest pay stubs?

=> A change of status is only possible if you are currently in legal status. Your current status H4 is only legal if your spouse has legal H1b status. Legality of H1b is checked by employer letter, I797, and last few months' paystubs.
