h4 to h1b

Hi,

i was on h1b from employer A from oct/2006 to may 2011 (4years 8 months) then moved to employer b (a desi Consulting firm) and started working as a consultant my h1b filed by employer b was rejected. in june 2011. We filed a MTR

As i could not stay in US i left to india and came back as a dependent j2 as my wife had a j1 visa.

My h1b was approved on jan 21 2012 with validity upto sep 30 2012 but the client had hired someone else by then..i had moved to h4 visa once my wife moved onto a h1b visa in june 2013.

Can i reclaim the lost time on my h1b once i find a new job?
