Appointment with expired I-797

Hi Folks,

I've reserved an appontment for my H1-B stamping using an active I-797 EAC number (Expires this month end).

My H1-B extension got approved and i've recieved a new I-797 form. My appointment is in March-2013.

Can someone advice me how can i update the new EAC number in the appontment?

just you can click reschedule appointment link and follow the steps to update the petition by actually not rescheduling the existing date. Every one does it.

I was able to get this done by calling the CSC customer care service. When i try to do it online, it asking to select the date first.

It seems like i can't keep the old appontment and update the petition details.

However, i was able to achieve this through the customer service people. They are very helpful.

I am also in the same situation. Can we change the EAC number after taking the appointment with the old EAC number

Hi Krish, Please refer to my previous reply. It is possible to change the EAC number by calling the CSC support number.
