H1 interview in chennai on 17th - 221G white - case not updated in tracker

Hi

i have attended the H1b visa interview in chennai on 17th Jan and the VO gave 221G saying that they need to reverify the relevance between my academic qualification and H1b employment.

I am a B.Com + MBA post graduate with 9 years of experience on oracle ERP technology as a financials functional consultant.

In the 221 G form there is a website

which the VO suggested to check for updates. Though the latest update date is showing as

22nd Jan on the case status report pdf, my case number has not been updated on the sheet.

My visa interview is on 17th and still didn't have updated on tracker.

Please advice...

check here use ur ds 160 number in case id

i attended on dec 3 my case is still pending

PDF usually contains case numbers that are cleared of Administrative Processing.

That means the number of PDF are cases that got cleared on that day.

You need to check your case status in ceac.state.gov with the case or application number

in ceac.state.gov i am able to track the case number showing Jan 16 is my case creation date and last updated on jan 17th. still under admin processing.

consulate officer didn't take any document except my original pg certificate and the academic evaluation.

they said they need to reverify the relevance between the academic qualification and the h1b employment.

dont know how long they are going to take for this. in Chennai 221G tracker some cases seems that they got cleared in 10-15 days as well...

even for Mumbai you can use https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA== to check for your case status and only thing is you need to select the location....
