SK111 Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 Hi all, I am planning to go to India for H1B visa stamping. I have a question for which I need clarification. I came to USA on F1, completed masters in '09. I joined company A in march '10 on OPT. Since that company was not e-verified I has to join a consultancy to get my OPT extended, but during that time I still continued to work for company A. So during this period I have W2 form company A but my i-20 says i was with consultancy. In Feb '12 company A offered me full time and also applied H1. Will this be any problem for H1 stamping. Please help
CCR Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 Keep ure fingers crossed for this. As long as they dont cross verify ure I-20 u should be ok. If they do then u've had it. Du have an approved 797?

cooldude11 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 This is the first time i see someone telling me that the OPT has the employer name . Are you sure? All OPT has is your employement authorization information.
