Louisville79 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 I am going to Vancouver for H1b stamping in march. I have an arrest record but was found not guilty and court documents say that I was acquitted, found not guilty and all my paperwork including electronic records be expunged. It also says court deems that this has never occurred. I understand that chances are I might get my stamping done without any issues or there might be 221g. In case of 221g can i travel to India and come back to get the visa stamped after the case is resolved instead of just waiting in canada ? Living in canada while on 221g will be expensive. I can just travel home during that process and come back for stamping when it is resolved. Any inputs will be appreciated. Thank you.
Arvinder Vemula Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 i understand its expensive if you stay alone. But there are people with similar situations sharing the accommodation. If you find one then you can wait or else as you said you can go back to India and come whenever they ask you to come. But check that whether you need a to and fro ticket from India because you are on visiting visa to canada.
