tushar907 Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Hi fellow members, Here is my scenario and question: I got my H1b stamped from Employer A in Jan 2012: Expiration date as per the stamp --Aug 2014 and I-94 expiration date during port of Entry in Feb 2012 is Aug 2014. I Changed my employer in Aug 2012 to Employer B. I'm currently with Employer B. As per my new I-94 ( I-797a) from Employer B, it is valid until Aug 2013. My Questions: 1) Is it safe for me to travel in the month of May - June 2013 overseas ? Considering that the new I-94 (from Employer B) expires in Aug 2013. 2) I'm sure that I don't need to go for stamping again, but wanted to throw it out there unless rules have changed recenlty I'd appreciate if you could provide me insight on my questions. Thank You.
wiweq Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Its ok, no problem. You are getting in before H1b visa expiry, that's it.
