h1_seeker Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Do I need to surrender I 94 card if I travel to bahamas for 2-3 days and return back to US? Will I be issued new I94 form on my return to US?
maverick41 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 Yes, since you will be travelling to another country you need to surrender your I-94 and you will be issued a new I-94. The unique thing about the Bahamas is that since its so close to the US on your return trip the immigration process (stamping passports and new I-94) will be conducted at the Nassau airport in Bahamas. My experience is based on flights but I'm not sure of the procedures for cruises.
h1_seeker Posted January 27, 2013 Author Report Posted January 27, 2013 Thanks maverick41, What documents do I require for bahamas visa. My H1B expires in Sep 2013 and I plan on travelling to bahamas in April 2013. Will there be any issues?
