swathian Posted January 19, 2013 Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 I had my visa interview on 11th jan 2013 and got my visa approved. Since it was pongal my passport could not be processed but from 16th Jan 2013 I am getting the status as origination scan, I have heard that after Origination scan it is dispatched the next day. I am not receieving any help from their end, my university classes are staring from next week so its kind of critical. Kindly help me sooon. Link to comment
fishaq Posted January 20, 2013 Report Share Posted January 20, 2013 There are two possibilities 1. Either the consulate hasn't forwarded your passport to the Loomis branch/American Expres 2. Or they have it and it is in dispatch queue. Contact the consulate and ask them about the case, if they tell you that it has been forwarded then the best bet would be that the loomis branch processes it ASAP. As backup ask your school DSO about the last date when you can enter US. Do not come after the date has passed or else you will be sent back. Link to comment
