clouds123 Posted January 18, 2013 Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 Hello, I came to Ottawa for H-1B stamping attended the interview on Monday Jan 14th. The VO asked me few questions about my job(Job description, company name, end-client letter). As I provided all of these he took my passport and said I cannot really tell you that your Visa is approved at this time as there is problem in the Database, I am unable to pull up your name. He handed me over all my documents back and kept my passport and gave me a white paper which says" Was your Visa Approved?" He told me that they would get back to me if additional documents are required before Wednesday if not I should start checking the application status on https://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/ss_country_welcome There is no update on the website yet. I also went to LOOMIS location to check if they got anything - no luck. Did anyone else face this kind of scenario? I emailed embassy also but no reply yet. I do not even know if the Visa was approved. Link to comment
