doctorbrij Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Hello everyone, Greetings! please guide me: My H1B cases is pending for 221g , in this time should I start K1 fiance visa process. I travel to India in Feb 2012 for my H1B visa renewal stamping Interview in New Delhi Consulate. They gave me 221G; finally in April they said they cannot grant me a visa this time. Then I started working Pune, Maharashtra, India, My New employer filed my H1B visa and this time I went Mumbai consulate for Visa Interview in October 2012 and result is same again receive 221 g. I submitted all the supporting document 3 months ago in October, still waiting for the reply. My Girlfriend is US citizen and she is suggesting we should file K1. At this point of time should I wait 221g result or file a new K1 visa application? Is this going to harm my previously pending H1B visa application? Thanks.
