issues on applying for H4 and H1b visa ta the same time

Hello Friends,

I am currenly in USA on F2 visa.

My husband's company will file H1b for him and h4 visa for me in April 2013.

I am looking for an employer to file an H1b for me in April 2013 as well.

Now my question is will there be any issue if both H4 and H1b visa are filed for me at the same time. Considering the fact that my visa status will change from F2.Which visa will be active for me.If both H4 and H1b get approved,will i still be able to work.

Has anyone come accross such situation ever???
