nefan Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 Hello, I had received a 221g on my old H1 in Ottawa, Canada. So i came back to India and changed the employer(Preferred Vendor) and applied for a new h1. My new H1 was approved last week. I had spoken to my old employer and asked him to revoke the old H1 and he confirmed he did that. But when i check the status in the USCIS website its still showing pending decision. Will this cause any issue for my new H1 visa interview? I am wondering if the USCIS will end my old case due to inactivity or not receiving a response from my old employer. By the way, Its been about 10 months since I got my 221G on the old H1. Please advice. Thanks in Advance.

wiweq Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 H1b revocation is paper based process. It takes 2-3 months to be updated on USCIS status.
DonShady Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 If your employer fails to respond, USCIS will automatically revoke the case, which means there is a ViSA denial on your record Please verify from someone knowledgeable
