4mbay
Hi Forum, I have a question regarding education evaluation. I have a 4 year bachelor degree with a MBA (2 years) from India. when I got my academics evaluated, i got it as an equivalent to US bachelors degree from AACRAO. Where as a friend of mine who has done a 3 year bachelors and a MCA ( 3years) from India got his academics evaluated as a US masters equivalent by the same AACRAO. Did any one face the same situation? does a MBA from India doesnt count as Masters in US? Appreciate your answers. Thanks Link to comment
sachin9183
MBA from India does count as Masters in US. There are different evaluators in AACRAO and they just evaluated them per your needs. You can ask them to represent the same facts in a different way and you should be good to go. Link to comment
Attorney_15
A 2 year Master's Degree following a 3 year Bachelor's Degree is not generally considered to be equivalent to a U.S. Master's Degree at this time. USCIS has taken this position and many evaluators have followed that pattern. Link to comment
