H1B Ext. Approved with Counselar Processing: Urgent

Hi All

My 2nd H1B extension has been approved but need to go for Consular approval.

Not sure why consular approval has been added as it was an ectension but that is not the concern right now.

As of now Lawyer has received an automatic email notification providing the information about "consular notified :New Delhi" but we haven't received paper copy.

A) My question is till when can I work

1) Till I go to India in next 2 weeks

2) Till I receive a paper copy in my hand from my employer

3) I cant work from the moment email was received

B) The time I stay in US after receiving paper notification, am I accruing unlawful stay even if I am not working.

The day you were notified that you need consular processing for H1b extesnion of stay, you should stop working for corresponding H1b employer. Doesn't matter its email notification or paper based.
