I am currently working with L1B visa and looking for other employers who can sponsor H1B for this year and below are the dates. L1B expiry date : July 2013 I94 validity is till Sep 2014. My questions are. Am I eligible to work till Oct 2013 with my current employer as L1 because my L1 expires, but I94 does not and is valid till Sep 2014. If I have to plan to go outside US, when I should be back without having any legal issues. I also have dependents with L2 and should I apply for them as dependent when I apply for H1 or I can wait when H1 is approved.
