Hi

My sister has come to University of Texas Arlington, Dallas for perusing Masters Degree.

Now she wants to transfer to Texas State University in San Marcos as they are offering her scholarship.

But the issue is that on the visa they have printed as "will not transfer".

Will it be a problem if she transfers to Texas State university from University of Texas Arlington?

Your response is much appreciated . Hope to hear back from you.

Thanks

Yes, it will be a problem.

These kinds of transfers often indicate some kind of fraud. A lot of people signed up with real universities and once in the US, transferred to some diploma mill.

The best way would be for her to get a new F1 visa.

Since both University of Texas Arlington and Texas State University are both reputable, well respected universities, there may be something else in the background / on file that would lead to the "will not transfer" restriction.
