H1 B extension stamping

Hi,

Im on H1 B extension which is valid till Jan 31 2014. Im planning to go to India in April 2013.. Got a few questions regarding the stamping..

1. Is there any risk in getting the extension stamped that I have only 9 months of valid visa left after April

2. Is H1 B extension Visa stamping more risky in any ways compared to a fresh H1 Visa

3. Can I continue here until this visa expires and then go for stamping next year for the next extension..
