nineballs Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 I strongly believe that the quota for 65,000 new 2014 H1B petitions may be over within first 3 weeks. I have reasons to believe that many companies are just waiting for April 1st when they can file H1B visas. And, a strong number in the first few days will trigger more and more employers to file for visas earlier. Anybody has any comments or any guesses on this?
JoeF Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 There is lots of scrutiny of H1 applications nowadays, in particular for applications from consultants.
wiweq Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 I 2nd you. 4 or max 5 weeks, regular and MS quota will be done.

Thanks for the reply but I didn't understand the significance of increased H1 scrutiny on the time when the quota get exhausted.
