gsaneja Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 I got an extreme DUI (more than 0.15) and I need to go to India to get my visa stamped. Has anyone been in a similar situation and successfully got their visa stamped in India? It has been 6 months since I got the DUI.

I talked with Sheela Murthy and got background and case letter from them explaining everything. I am planning to travel in march. I think you shoud talk to them. It is little expensive. I paid $3k but it is worth it.

The officer mention that its my 1st DUI and I just have to go through the medical examination and it is more of a process and I can collect my passport after the medical exam process is complete (they get the results and all that)
