I had a very interesting interview experience that I would like to share with you all.

Interview date 2 Jan 2012.

Counter 5 : Middle Aged Male Officer

VO: hi

Me: Good Morning officer. How are you doing today.

VO: I am doing good and how are you.

Me: Good. Thank You.

I gave my passport and application.. he scanned the bar code... and asked for my finger prints...

@ the end I removed my thumb prints before he asked me to... he said oh,, oh...

I asked.. should I scan again... he said he got my prints. I am good.

VO: How long have you been working for the employer..

Me: Since XX so XX years...

VO: Do you work at any client location

Me: yes. I work at blah..

VO: May I see your LCA

Me: gave my LCA

VO: ooh so you went to school at XXXX

Me: Yes, I did my masters in XX

VO: My brother went to same school and used to play for the football team

Me: Cool. I used to follow the collage foot ball.

VO: So you are blah balh fan,,(Our School foot ball team name)

Me: Smiled and said yes. GO..(School football team name). Smiled again.

VO: Seriously typing..

Me: So your brother..aaaa,,, is he still active with foot ball?

VO: He played for NFL and is retired now

Me: Let me guess... he played for Vikings...

VO: You guessed it right.. no wonder you went to XX school.

Me: Smiled.

VO: Your visa is approved and you will get your passport in 3-5 business days...

Me: Thank You Officer.

VO: GO (My School foot ball team name).

Me: Smiled again and Wished him happy new year,.

VO: Happy New Year to you too.

Me: Thank You...

Bottom line I felt that the VO are there to grant visa. Be yourself and you will get it.
