H1B and F1 (spouse) stamping together in canada?

Hi,

I am planning to attend for my H1B stamping in Canada. I have been on H1B in US more than 6 yesars now, my MS is not from US. My job model is EVC. Last visa was expired in 2009.

My wife came to US on H4 (which is now expired), converted to F1 later. She is also doing TA along with studies in Uni. She want to get her F1 visa (change of status from H4) stamped before OPT period starts because it is difficult to get visa while on OPT. I am her sponcer and university is also providing funding. She doesn't have any work experience or funding source from India. I am hoping while interview they may not send her back to India for stamping because her funding and experience are not from India, there is nothing for them to check back home (I may be wrong here).

If I go alone, it may be fine for H1 my stamping. The question is can we both go together for stamping to canada or separate? Or should she go alone to India for F1?

Any of you had or heard of this situation?
