aravinds Posted January 3, 2013 Report Share Posted January 3, 2013 Am a H1B visa holder and my wife is on H4 and we have our visa stamped until May 2015 and I94 valid until May 2015 and working at client A.I got another good offer and transferred both H1 and H4 to Client B.I am starting at Client B on 01/16/2013.When i got approval notices for H1 and H4,instead of having start date as that of H1B which is 01/16/2013,H4 has 11/16/2013 and expiry date is 11/15/2014 instead of 01/15/2014 because of typo error for 01,it 11 on H4 for month.I called up USCIS and they are looking into it.She is about to do Masters on H4. 1.Is my wife's H4 still valid after 01/16/2013 as her I94 issued at POE is until May 2015? 2.When my clint A revokes H1b on 01/16/2013,what will be her status?Is H4 employer dependent? 3.Should i file new I539 with my new approval notice again? 4.Can she start her Masters now? aravinds Posted January 6, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 6, 2013 Lawyer asked us to raise service request to USCIS and we have raised a service request to USCIS on phone and they said they will get back by jan 17th. Worst case Scenario,if they don't fix the issue,will she have valid H4 status even after my Client A revokes my H1B on Jan 16th as her I94 issued at POE is valid until May 2015? Link to comment
