vikram05 Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 While filling DS-160 form when it will ask to upload a photo? (Is it on the 1st page while selecting the consulate or after we submit it). Thanks
NewH1-B Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 i did not see any option to upload the photo . At the last page after you are done filling up the Ds160 . There an option is shown for photo but it states" photo will be taken at ASC" am not sure what it means. what i believe is the photo will be taken while we go for finger printing .
Jaguar09 Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 When you are filling DS-160 the last step is to upload your pic.
venkatesh1105 Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 yes ,this was a confusion for me too on the new process, confirmed everybody gets the same Photo taken at ASC as i heard for many of them, as test photo uploaded shows successful but nothing comes in confirmation page.
dsp236 Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 Photo upload is last step before you submit the form. If for any reason you can't upload the photo take latest (less than 6months old) 2 passport size photos with you & they will upload it for you. Other option is to take photo at the photo booth inside US consulate in Canada. The machine only takes cash & that too in Canadian $5 & $10 bills.
gjr520 Posted January 4, 2013 Report Posted January 4, 2013 Use Internet Explorer ,if u use crome it wont allow .
sharks Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 guys, I have the same problem. I uploaded the photo first and continued the application. At the end, the confirmation page shows "Photo will be taken at the ASC". I am not going for finger printing since I am eligible for dropbox. Will they take photo at Dropbox office?
