EB2 Eligibility / Experience Letter

Hello,

I have done my Computer Engineering (Bachelors in Computer (10+6) ) from Mumbai India.

I have a degree of Advance Diploma in Business Administration from India.

I have 8+ years of work experience in IT.

Can you please let me know

1) if I am Eligible for GC processing in EB2

2) Kindly let me know a sample experience letter / Designation required from the Employer for Processing in EB2

3) If I am not eligible for EB2 processing then kindly suggest the qualifications / certifications required to be eligible for the same.

You need US masters Degree to eligible for EB2

As has been posted innumerable times on this forum, the employment (EB) category is based on the job (not the employee). For EB2 ...

1) The job requirements (education and experience) must genuinely, legitimately, and truly require an U.S. Masters degree or Bachelors degree + 5 years progressive experience. Foreign degrees must be evaluated to be equivalent to the noted U.S. degrees.

2) The employee must then have the requisite qualifications for the job requirements.

Regardless of how highly qualified the employee, if the job does not require a Master degree (or equivalent), then it will not qualify for the EB2 employment category.
