changed the petition number after booking the visa appoinment

Hi,

I have situation that I have applied for H1-B amendment after scheduling the visa appointment ! will it create issue ? I have not yet recieved the H1-B amendment hopefully it will come in 15 days as i did in premium.

not sure to update the petition number with the same scheduled interview.

but other work around is reschedule the interview with new petition number. You don't need to wait till it got approved, its generally your case number starts with EAC or so...

and you don't need to pay anything.
