ssmr
Hey Scientist, Congratulations on getting your visa. I am in the same boat as yours. I work in R&D of a top pharma company. I was asked to submit my resume and research details via email (221g white slip). I was told the process will take 2-4 weeks. Did the VO mention similar processing time for your case? Thanks! ssmr
My visa interview was on Dec 20th and I submitted the documents via email 2 hours after my interview. Hoping to get the visa approved by end of next week. Did you contact the consulate during the wait time? Is there any point in sending them email and asking the status? Link to comment
scientist123
I dont think there is any point trying to contact the consulate. You will get an email once your passport is ready for pick up. Also remeber that passport pick up time at the OFC is Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Carry a Govt issued photo ID (original +one xerox copy) when you go to pick up ur passport. So till then just seat back, relax and enjoy ur holidays. Cheers :) Link to comment
