bijuyes80 Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 folks, i need all your inputs as i am going for my second stamping for H1 b.. here is my situvation work model :EC i am working with my employer for last 2 years and changed from client A to B(EC) recently and got the updated LCA with the new client address.. But i haven't done the ammentment due to lack of time and the note i found in USCICS... is it ok to go with out h1b ammentment for my h1b extension stamping ? i was kind of confused on the ammentment i got very mixed response from everywhere and now have no time to wait .. as i need to go for stamping when i am with this Client B (EC model). i was always on EVC or EVVC model.. inputs please...appreciate all your points .. cheers biju
cooldude76 Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 Its risky to go for stamping without ammendment. You H1 approval is based on client A and now you are working at client B. How can this be co-related ? Better do H1B ammendment and then for stmaping on the ammended approval.
bijuyes80 Posted December 31, 2012 Author Report Posted December 31, 2012 thank you. i was confused about the 'material change' clauses in USCICS website and few of my friends told this is not mandatory..

rahul412 Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 thank you. i was confused about the 'material change' clauses in USCICS website and few of my friends told this is not mandatory.. You need attorney's advice not friend's. Any change in your previous H1 petition like change in the salary, position, job details, client details(if any) is called 'material change'. And this change has to be notified to USCIS, which is nothing but H1 amendment.
