svasa Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 Hello guys Please answer this question ASAP. I travelled to Canada for my H1B visa stamping and my I-94 not taken by Canadian airlines when leaving from US to Canada. I got the passport from US Embassy with visa stamped, but it had no I-94. So is the I-94 on I-797 good? Do I need to do anything additional for updating departure records? Thanks for your answers.
kalyan_ac Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 When you travel back from Canada to US,insist the immigration officials to give a new I94. When travelling to canada they generally do not take the I94.You have to submit it if you want a new one.

You have to fill the new I 94 at the POE.
