Urgent! H4 stamping

Hi,

I am currently in US and my wife is in India for a short visit. She needs to get her H4 VISA stamped before coming back. I have one doubt. Does she need to have my original petition (I-797) along with her for stamping? We have a valid H1B extension and hence she has her own copy of I-797. So I initially thought that my I797 (which has my attached I-94) is not required.

Please let me know if you guys know anything. I may have to quickly reschedule the appointment in that case.

I don't think, she needs to carry original I-797. Copy should work fine.
