shandan Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 It is niether EB2 nor EB3 nor any EB category. Your profile has zip/nothing/nada to do with the EB category for the job.
harish_gc Posted December 26, 2012 Author Report Posted December 26, 2012 Thanks for your reply. Why my profile is nothing 3 year bsc + 2 year msc same field with computer science total 8 + year exp and 7 years from India and 1 + year from usa. Can you any one help out please? Thanks
shandan Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 You didn't get the point. "Your profile has zip/nothing/nada to do with the EB category for the job" It means your jobs EB category is NOT decided by your education/experience profile. It is decided by the requirements for the JOB! e.g. and not meaning insult/poke fun, but if the job is to work at the farm, then you can have a post doctoral degree, but the job still will not be in the skilled employment category. Hence, the EB category is decided by the jobs requirement and not your profile. So your pofile has nothing to do with the EB category of the job.
t75 Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 The job defines the category. Many people are "overqualified" for the job they take.
Attorney_22 Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 Generally, it is possible your combined degrees could be considered equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree and with five years of progressive experience after the Msc- you may be able to qualify in the EB2 category. However, it is advisable to speak directly to a qualified U.S. immigration attorney to obtain exact guidance. The Murthy Law Firm has a very well-regarded Green Card Department with extensive experience who would be able to provide you with excellent assistance. Please feel free to call our office to schedule a consultation with one of our attorneys.
harish_gc Posted December 27, 2012 Author Report Posted December 27, 2012 Thanks for your all information. it would be very helpful for me.
