H1 petition and LCA approved as Manager, but Person working as developer.

An H1B employee petition and LCA is approved as Manager (IT), however the employee have been assigned a developer role. Employer had filed H1 petition as manager by mistake or for whatever reasons.

After finding out this situation, Employer is now planning to amend H1B and LCA from Manager to developer profile. What are the odds of getting this amendment approved ? and what are the chances for rejection ?
