H1B stamping interview in India??after getting 221g in vancouver!!

Hello All,

On Dec3rd i have attended my interview in vacouver and they have not given any slip or 221g and said they need to verify something at their end. VO did not give any slip but took PP,I797,I129,LCA, Pay stubs & phone number and said she would contact me in 2weeks.

After sending couple of emails asking for status updates, on Dec10th they said that they need some documents(221 g) to prove why the payroll was run under sister company. We have submitted the documents on 12th and i still don't see any response yet.

my problem was Petitioner is different and the payroll ran was different(sister company) so VO wanted to verify that.

So can i take the PP and go to India and try to schedule another appointment in India for stamping ? Is that possible?

Please advice.

You can request for the passport, go to India for stamping. But the rules remain the same in India too.

Its better to have your employer run the payroll and not any other company.
