Missing I-129 and H1B stamping.

Hi Everyone!

I am in the process to do H1B stamping in Toronto (first time). While applying for H1B visa, my lawyer gave all the documents to send the file to USCIS and he left to India for vacation. Without making a copy of I-129 , I mailed the whole envelop to USCIS.

Now, neither me nor my lawyer have a copy of I-129. It is must for H1B stamping.

1. Can I request USCIS for duplicate copy?

2. How should I proceed?

Does anyone has gone through this? If so, I kindly request you to guide me in this process.
